GEN 2 HIGH INERTIA ENCLOSED CYLINDERS (HIE)
Fully enclosed design reduces trash build-up.
Staggered bar design feeds the concaves more effectively by minimizing the amount of material thrown onto the concave at once, enabling better threshing and ensuring a more continuous and even material flow.
Heavier, high-inertia design saves fuel consumption and reduces power requirements.
Bars are available in both RH (right-hand) and LH (left-hand) orientations and can be ordered in either standard ‘black’ or boronized versions for enhanced durability.
BORONIZING
Increased Hardness: Boronizing can achieve surface hardness levels up to 2000 HV (Vickers Hardness), making components more resistant to abrasion and extending their operational lifespan.
Enhanced Wear Resistance: The process forms a hard boride layer in the metal surface, reducing wear and tear during operation.
Improved Corrosion Resistance: Boronized surfaces exhibit better corrosion resistance, particularly in aggressive environments, thereby maintaining the integrity of the components.
Reduced Coefficient of Friction: The boride layer provides a smoother surface, decreasing friction between moving parts and improving overall efficiency.
