Concave assembly consists of main frame with 1 Round Bar insert and 6 Regular Max Thresh Inserts. Regular Max thresh insert is normally used in the front area of the concave. The angled helical bar provides for head-on threshing and has slightly larger holes than the Boronized Max Thresh Insert to encourage early separation. These inserts are individually replaceable and 180 reversible to extend the life of the insert.
