Generation 2 Cylinders are fully enclosed, eliminating trash build-up. They have a staggered bar design, allowing a more even flow of material and more even threshing as material passes over the concave. The evenly distributed material also reduces the impact and wear on the concave. They are more heavy-duty, allowing inertia to assist in rotation, reducing fuel consumption. Boronizing, is a thermo-chemical hardening process used to improve the life and performance of metal components to strengthen resistance to corrosion and abrasive wear. NOTE: Customers replacing heavy-duty OEM cylinders with Sunnybrook Gen 2 will require a different OEM shaft. To install our cylinder you must have the New Holland Standard Shaft, part #84052910
